Update to FY26-27 TIF and GAEL Rates

New GAEL & TIF Rates

As you prepare proposals and update budgets for FY 26-27, please note the rates for the following payroll-linked expenses:

• • Technology Infrastructure Fee (TIF) remains at $43.96 per FTE per month, pending review. I will share any updates once available.
  • General, Auto and Employment Liability (GAEL) rate will be $1.75 per $100 of salary, effective 7/1/26. Beginning with FY 26-27, every campus department will use the same composite GAEL rate (except for the Faculty Center).
