As you prepare non-federal proposals and update budgets for FY 26-27, please note the RPNI rate is .75% as of 7/1/26. We have added this information to the OROS website.
RPNI is the UC Retirement Program (UCRP) Supplemental Interest Assessment Rate (RPNI). The RPNI rate recovers interest costs associated with unfunded plan liability and is applied to all UCRP-covered staff at a FY26/27 rate of 0.75% of requested salary. RPNI only applies to non-federal funding sources.
